A big thanks to our client! One Piece is a well-loved and familiar theme to everyone, and with the recent storyline where Luffy awakened his Gear 5 form, this incredibly powerful and cool design has gained a lot of attention. I was lucky enough to receive a commission for this design!
As many of you know, there are already some Gear 5 Luffy itasha designs on the market, and since Luffy’s pose is so iconic, it’s a widely used one. To avoid repetition, the client and I decided to use manga panels as the background for the main design, and it turned out really well! On the other side, Zoro’s design came together smoothly as well, and the whole project was completed successfully!
