Cryroc - BMW X5 X Lovelive Sunshine Tsushima Yoshiko Itasha Design Case

I’m thrilled to share Cryroc Itasha Studio’s latest project: a BMW X5 transformed into a vibrant LoveLive Sunshine Itasha featuring Tsushima Yoshiko (Yohane) and Riko Sakurauchi. Thanks to our Canadian client for this exciting commission. The X5’s bold design made it a perfect canvas for this anime-inspired wrap, bringing these beloved characters to life on the road.

The design process began with the client’s interest in a Yohane the Parhelion theme but evolved into a Yohane and Riko pairing, drawing from LoveLive Sunshine’s rich artwork. We selected two iconic illustrations that capture the school idol charm, with Yohane’s special outfit showcased on the hood. This creative shift ensured a dynamic and visually striking design that resonates with fans.

A key challenge was complying with Canadian regulations requiring the car’s original white color to remain visible. We used large gradient effects to blend the design seamlessly while preserving the base color. Wrapping a white car with a white background demanded precision, but our collaboration with a skilled wrap shop delivered flawless results.
