As an itasha designer and Persona 5 enthusiast, few projects ignite my passion like transforming a sleek car into a rolling tribute to a beloved game. When a car owner commissioned an Ann Takamaki-themed wrap for the Xiaomi SU7, a car I’ve long admired for its futuristic design, I was ready to dive in and create something extraordinary.
The car owner wanted a design that broke free from Persona 5’s iconic red-and-black palette. Inspired by Ann Takamaki’s vibrant energy, we chose her signature pink to dominate the wrap, paired with a bold, cyberpunk-inspired typography. The text “AKAMAI ANNE,” styled in jagged, neon-lit letters, flows seamlessly across the SU7’s curves, while playful phrases like “OMG! Weawesome” and “Cute Rock” add a fan-driven charm. The artwork, featuring Ann in her Phantom Thief outfit, was carefully positioned to complement the car’s sleek lines, with her dynamic pose and expressive blue eyes stealing the show.
A standout feature was the custom cryroc logo, reimagined with Persona 5’s star and heart motifs, ensuring this itasha is unmistakably mine. Wrapping the SU7’s aerodynamic surfaces was no easy task, but close collaboration with the wrapping team delivered a flawless, glossy finish that makes the colors pop under any light.
The final result is a masterpiece I’m incredibly proud of. This pink-drenched SU7, with its cyberpunk flair and Ann’s bold spirit, is one of the finest itashas I’ve created—and I’m confident it’s among the best Xiaomi SU7 designs out there. I can’t wait to see it turn heads on the road!
